Week 3 in my Guest DT spot at Outlawz Sunday CAS! And it's
“Do Something Different Sunday” – Use a technique or tool that you have been wanting to try but haven’t, or one that you haven’t used for awhile. Some ideas: create your own background with paints or inks; die cuts or no die cuts; colour with pencils if you normally colour with markers . . . and the list goes on.
I've never used stuff like Gesso, gel medium etc that is used in art journaling but I've been itching to give it a try. But before I go and mess up a journal page, I thought I'd try it out on a card!
The background was created by covering cardstock with Gesso, then rubbing it with Adironrack acrylic paint dabber inks. The stamping was done on top in brown ink & Stazon black.
